MPS works with Taylor Davis Ltd to Introduce the first Uk Manufactured 6-7 Litre PET Container

MPS and Taylor Davis Ltd have worked in partnership to offer a New 6 Litre PET Container specifically designed for the Healthcare and Suppliments Markets. 

MPS Managing Director Alan Charlton stated "this is a first for UK Manufacturing,  and demonstrates the commitment of both MPS and Taylor Davis to develop and expand their product ranges into specific markets.  The addition of the 6 Litre (6900ml) allows us to offer a complete supply package to Suppliment Manufacturers in the uk,  we are sure this will prove very popular with our customers"

The New container looks set to prove very popular,  whilst offering the usual benefits of PET i.e. high gloss finish, and excellent impact resistance,  the UK manufactured container offers significant environmental benefits, and a reduction in the carbon foot print to those containers currently available. 

MPS Introduce two new jars to the 'mini ranges'

MPS have released two new jars into the 'mini range' of containers.  The new containers a Square 450ml and a round 380ml Victorian jar will further compliment these ranges and look set to be a popular addition,

MPS Introduce a New Victorian style Jar and Cap

MPS have introduced yet another new jar to their product range,  the 500ml Round Victorian Jar.  The jar which has a truly 'old fashioned' appearance can be complimented with a new 70mm Victorian Style Cap.

MPS Release the first of the 'Mini Range'

MPS have now released the first of their new mini range.   Having completed an extensive testing and trialling period we are now able to offer the jars for sale. 

Quality Award for MPS

Following an assessment by an independant body, Moulded Packaging Solutions Limited has been awarded ISO9001 Certification.  This certification has only been achieved by about 5% of UK businesses and recognised world wide.

A delighted Alan Charlton, Managing Director said "We have always been proud of the servi ce we offer our customers and the way we conduct our business. Now with the award of ISO9001 Certification, this has been confirmed by outside experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades and Industries"

MPS Confirms order to produce 70mm Neck products

MPS has placed orders to further expand the product range available to customers.  Alan Charlton Managing Director said "...it has always been our intention to continue and expand our product range for customers,   the next stage is to move into the smaller sizes, below 750ml to meet the market demands" he continued ".. we have received a great deal of interest in these areas and believe this investment will prove very successful"

The company expects be introducing the 70mm Product range from September 2010,  this will initially start with three containers,  two for the round range at 400ml and 425ml, and an additional container for the spherical range at 650ml.

MPS add new Jar and Range

MPS has recently released three new jars to the product ranges.  The company has continued to extend the already popular Round Range with the addition of two new sizes.  The new containers,  in both 1.2L and 4 Litre sizes, are available now.   

Given the level of interest from current customers, MPS has introduced a spherical range of containers,  initially starting with a 3.2L.  This range offers a number of different options for product presentation as the container can be stood either upright as a conventional jar,  or with the neck at 45 degrees to offer access for product pick for example as part of a pick and mix stand,  or simply for end of the counter sales. 

MPS wins prestigious Award

Following their recent success MPS has been awarded "Northumberland Business of the Year" at a prestigious ceremony held at Linden Hall Hotel, near Morpeth in Northumberland.

The Directors and staff were recognised for their hard work and effort establishing a very successful business,  especially in the current uncertain economic climate.  The business has continued to invest in equipment and local people to establish a firm base for future growth plans.

On accepting the Award Iain Mcleod, Manufacturing Director said "... this is an absolute surprise, it is a privilege to have our efforts recognised in such a way.  I would like to thank everyone who has supported us, in particular Business Link and Northumberland County Council..."

MPS extend product Range

Moulded Packaging Solutions has recently committed to three new PET containers to further expand their product range. 

These containers are specifically aimed to service Confectionery, Food Service and Personal Care Markets.  These new container moulds are in the process of manufacture and trialling and will be released for sale in the very near future.

Managing Director Alan Charlton, commented "...this is an excellent opportunity for MPS to continue to develop our business.  We have managed to increase our sales and profitability during what can only be described as tough times for manufacturing in the UK.  We will continue to invest and expand to provide for the future of the business..."

Thanks to a development support grant from Business Link, here at MPS we have been able to launch a new website featuring our new logo and updated information about the company.

Our aim is to find new customers nationwide and enable our existing customers to keep up to date with developments at MPS.

Our range of plastic jars is amongst the most comprehensive in the industry and new shapes/sizes are constantly being added to our portfolio.
